Originally from New York, Barbara has been a Bay Area resident since 1972, moving to Marin County over 30years ago. She earned a B.A. degree from Hunter College in communications and two Master's degrees: from New York University in counseling and from the University of California, Berkeley in public health. She has been an investor, developer, and project manager in real estate since 1978. As a member of the Rotary Club of Marin Sunrise since 1994 (serving as treasurer for three years), she has been involved in many philanthropic projects, such as working at a children's orphanage in Tijuana and working on a medical team providing cleft-palate surgeries to children in Venezuela. She prides herself in her professional life as a creative thinker, a great negotiator, and a hard worker with a lot of integrity. In Barbara's free time she enjoys hiking, theater, music, and her great passion-global adventure travel.
